Olivier Van Den Bossche

, C.E.O. of the German department stores Kaufhof, has suddenly resigned after 14 years at the firm. His departure is just over a year after the takeover of Kaufhof by the Canadian Hudson’s Bay Company (HBC). Wolfgang Link is the new C.E.O. for HBC’s European business from May 1, 2017. He is in charge of launching new brands in Europe, including Saks, Saks Off 5th and Hudson’s Bay, whose first unit will open in Amsterdam in August 2017.
