After Costco, which initiated the process at the end of 2025, “tariffs” refund claims are multiplying across the USA. Target and Walmart said they launched the process on May 22, 2026, followed by The Home Depot. The same applies at Apple, Nike, FedEx, etc. These refunds concern imported products, for which the retailer is the official importer. At Walmart, they are expected to average 0.5% of US revenue, i.e. US$2.42 billion for a year, based on 2025 figures.
