The Polish government announced an intention to acquire the country’s leading convenience store chain, Zabka (8,000 franchise stores, 2021 turnover of US$2.5 billion, up by 22% year-on-year).

Since 2017, the chain has been owned by the American investment fund CVC Capital Partners.
