Redevco’s mall in Bordeaux is soaring with medium-sized stores. At the I.C.S.C

European Conference in Warsaw in April, the Promenade Ste Catherine open-air shopping centre in Bordeaux (Redevco) won the Award of the Best Retail Property Development. This 18,600 sq.m GLA mall houses 38 stores and 85% of the space is occupied by medium-sized units (more than 300 sq.m GLA) such as Lego, Citadium and Bershka. “Traditional malls usually house 4 or 5 medium-sized stores and an array of smaller shops to guarantee very high rents,” said an expert.
