Marc Bolland, the Dutch C.E.O. of Marks & Spencer (M&S) has decided tostep down following the 4th quarter results, with like-for-like sales up by just 0.4%. From April 2016, he will be replaced by Steven Rowe (aged 48), current Executive Director for General Merchandise. Mr. Rowe started working at M&S in 1989 and he became Executive Director of the non-food division in July 2015. M&S runs 1,340 stores (with 852 in the UK).
