The high-end fashion retailers Sandro and Maje, with majority shareholder the Chinese firm Shandong Ruyi,opened 2 separate stores in Toronto in Q4 2016. These are both in the Yorkdale Shopping Centre, covering sales area of 144 sq.m (Sandro) and 115 sq.m (Maje). For the first semester to June 2016, total sales of parent company SMCP (Sandro, Maje and Claudie Pierlot) jumped by 19% and by 9% like-for-like, selling €377 million via 1,176 stores.
