The U.K. property owner Hammerson no longer recommends to shareholders to vote in favour of its proposed acquisition of Intu Properties, because of the current weakness of the British retail market. This transaction announced in December 2017 was to be based on 0.475 new Hammerson shares per Intu share held. If this deal is no longer supported by Hammerson’s Board, it remains subject to shareholder voting.
