The Canadian retailer Tim Hortons, a specialist in doughnuts and cafes owned by Restaurant Brands International (RBI), will open its 1st European restaurant in Santo Domingo Square, Madrid. Before expanding further into Europe, it wants a high-profile penetration in Madrid (in Canada, there is one Tim Horton for every for 9,000 people). RBI also owns Burger King.
