Embattled U.K. fashion retailer New Look is to cease Chinese operations, closing 130 remaining stores. The move follows a strategic review of the Chinese business in June. The company suspended an ambitious 450-store rollout plan after opening 148 units. In March 2018, South African-owned New Look signed a Company Voluntary Arrangement with its creditors and landlords in the U.K., closing 60 stores.
