The Japanese specialized restaurant operator Wagamama, based in the U.K., opened a 370 sq.m GLA restaurant in January 2018. This is in the Dubai Mall (156 seats with communal tables and an outdoor terrace), expanding the business to 5 restaurants in the U.A.E. Two other units are expected to open in Sharjah and in Abu Dhabi by the end of 2018. The proscribed local partner is RMAL hospitality company, which operates under a franchise agreement.
