Will Ikea be exempted from India’s 30% rule of local supply ?

The Indian government plans to ease local sourcing rules for single-brand retailers such as Ikea and Decathlon.So far, retailers eager to operate their own stores in India need to meet 30% local sourcing norms in a two-year period, although the rule was tweaked for some of them. In the technology sector, time went up to 8 years to fulfil the necessary sourcing requirements.
