After adopting a European agreement on equal opportunities in November 2006, the management of the Areva group and its EWC, together with the European Metalworkers' Federation (EMF), wished to establish a European equal action program - Odeo - to guarantee the concrete application of the agreement. The ODEO program (Open Dialogue through Equal Opportunities) is the European equal opportunities agreement signed in November 2006 by the group’s management and the EMF.
