On August 20, 2008, in a last instance ruling (9 ObA 89/07i), the Superior Court of Justice gave satisfaction to the complainant, member of the WC of an insurance company, who requested that his employer provides appropriate resources for his work, i.e a cell phone and a laptop, as well as a collaborator for the secretariat. The suit filed by the WC of the Nierderösterreiche Versicherung AG (NÖV) insurance company against its management, and the rulings in favor of the complainant from lower courts were confirmed by the Austrian supreme court (OGH).
