As for Germany, the Austrian post office (Post AG) is subject to the growing competition of private postal services. On August 28, the Austrian media revealed that Quelle, one of the German heavyweights regarding mail order, was about to have all of its parcels delivered by the private distributor Hermès (a subsidiary of the German group VPC Otto).
