Belgium: amendments to the social balance sheet

Two royal decrees of February 10, 2008, amend the development of the social report which must be handed out by companies who have to return their annual accounts. One of the decrees allows the e-transmission of data concerning employment measures and specifies how they have to be transmitted to staff representatives. These decrees will come into effect on December 1, 2008. (Ref. 080346)

  • Inventory of the staff. The first section will specify “the number of full-time and full-time workers and the total workforce stated as full-time.” These pieces of information must be listed according to the types of contract, gender, the level of education and occupational category.
