Belgium: parental leave to go from 3 up to 4 months on June 1st

The decree still needs to be published in the Official Journal (Moniteur Belge).  The communiqué released by the services of the Minister of Employment, Monica De Coninck, the text extends parental leave by one month (one month of full suspension, or two months part-time, or five months with a 1/5th time), thus bringing it from 3 up to 4 months.  Compensation for this 4th month will be the same as for the first three (benefits received from employment services, which amounts to €693.20/month after tax for a complete suspension).  The decree also adds a new right for workers returning from parental leave.  They can ask to adjust the work scheme and/or working time.  This for month of parental leave will be open on June 1.
