Belgium: social partners can choose another bank holiday than May 2, 2008

To face the fact that May Day and Ascension Day are this year both the same day, the government already planned to make May 2 a public holiday. A new royal bill, adopted on January 25, allows social partners in sectors and companies to choose another date for this holiday. (Ref. 080072)
