Starting 06 April, employers dealing falling business levels due to the Covid-19 crisis can secure State aid to pay employee salaries. The government provision intends for several supports for companies that continue paying salaries in spite of experiencing work interruptions. These supports vary according to the reasons for the interruption.
The Czech Labor Office, which will reimburse employers for costs of the salary outlays, will quickly respond to employers’ applications for aid. The amount the State will reimburse depends on the reason for the interruption in the company’s business activity.
- Mode A covers quarantine situations and government decreed business closure situations. For Mode A the Labor Office will reimburse employers up to 80% of the relevant salary outlays (salary, social contributions, insurance contributions).
