Denmark: campaign encouraging dialogue between seniors and managers to extend active life

Increasing shortage. “The labor market needs seniors’ talent” the Minister explained “because, even with the crisis, there is a workforce shortage in some sectors.” This shortage is made worse because the post-war generation is retiring (the ratio between the 1946 generation, the biggest, and the 1983 generation, the lowest, is 96,000 to 51,000 births), thus pushing the Ministry to multiply initiatives aimed at keeping seniors on the labor market (see our dispatch No. 081045).
