The issue of social dumping could be decisive in the outcome of the municipal election of November 19. LO signed agreements with left-wing parties in several towns, who commit themselves, in return for the union’s electoral support, to doing everything to put an end to ramping social dumping in public sites, adopting the “chain responsibility” social clause, which puts responsibility on the entrepreneur who was awarded the public contract have its subcontractors to comply with conventional rules.
