Improving MSDs. In order to resolve the problem of conducting numerous repetitive tasks, the medical devices supplier Coloplast developed a method which can be implemented in factories in Denmark and abroad, working with the consultancy firm Alectia People. The method consists in drawing up a work map illustrating the level of strenuousness of the various tasks, indicated by color codes, to highlight the most strenuous tasks and use this as a basis to prepare an employee rotation plan. This has contributed to reducing the impact of repetitive tasks per person and therefore “lightening” employees’ working days.
