The news. On 3 September, the Danish Parliament adopted a bill introducing a mandatory professional ID card for people working on large construction sites. The card will include, among other information, the employee’s name, photograph and nationality, identification number, job title, and information about their employer. It will make it easier for labour inspectors to verify that work is being carried out legally and that rules relating to foreign labour are being respected.
