While Louis Gallois agreed, in front of the European CS, on October 5th, 2006, to favor social cooperation as part of the implementation of the reorganization plan of its subsidiary, Airbus, the EWC adopted a declaration. It should be the first one to be informed of the consequences that the decisions announced will have on employment within the group (Ref. 061010)
During EADS’ s European WC, which took place on October 5th, 2006, Louis Gallois, co president of EADS, -who also became, on October 9th, the president of Airbus, replacing Christian Streiff- promised that management would not decide “anything, notably concerning the different sites, without talking beforehand with workers’ representatives,” according to a declaration adopted by the committee.
