EU : creation of a legal assistance fund for EWCs

The executive committee of the European Federation of Public Services Union (EPSU) adopted, on April 22, 2008, the rules to appeal to a legal assistance fund created for EWCs. It will helps the councils claim their rights if information and consultation rights are not respected. (Ref. 080350)

The idea of creating a legal assistance fund for EWCs was discussed by EPSU EWC coordinators on October 29, 2007 (see our article No. 070936). It was materialized in a text adopted on April 22 by the executive committee of the union federation, and Planet Labor managed to get a copy. It specifies the fund’s operating conditions.
