EU: flexicurity, decent jobs and portability of pension rights on the agenda of the last Council of employment ministers

The last Council of Social Affairs ministers of the Finnish Presidency, which took place on November 30th and December 1st, supported the initiative of the European Commission to promote decent jobs outside and inside the EU. As regards the draft directive on the portability of supplementary pension rights, the ministers agreed to discuss a less ambitious text which gives up the faculty to transfer vested rights.
