In its analysis published on December 11 entitled “Un contrat social pour l’Europe: priorités et pistes d’action “ (A European social contract, priorities and avenues), France Stratégie (General Commissioner for Strategy and Forecasting / Commissariat général à la stratégie et à la prospective) defends the argument that strengthening a Social Europe will enable Europe to exit both its moral and economic crisis. Three priorities are outlined: adding a social dimension to the euro currency, modifying the European mobility framework, and restoring the sustainability of European social models.
The social theme is back, and for good reason.
