EU: joint analysis of labour market’s challenges and European social partners’ recommendations published

During European social partners' presentation (see our story No. 070857) of their "joint analysis of the labour market’s challenges", John Monks, for the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) and Ernest-Antoine Sellière for BusinessEurope, did not hide the fact that talks were tough within every organization. Attached to this article, you will find the document presented during the tripartite social summit which took place before Lisbon's European Council and which, as far as the Portuguese Prime Minister who is currently the chair of the EU Council, José Socrates, is concerned, represents a "new life for European social dialogue".
