As part of an EU-funded project, a free e-learning platform was initiated. It is available in eight languages, and is aimed at training the people who define or influence the company's recruitment policies. It already contains training modules and a toolbox, but it needs to be developed further, and the ICT sector was chosen to test and diversify its content. (Ref. 080618)
The platform, created to bring an answer to age discrimination, is designed to sensitize key individuals who influence employers’ recruitment policies to older workers’ needs and abilities. It is divided into three modules:
- Module 1 provides information on current changes in the labor market and the main demographic trends in Europe.
- Module 2 looks at how to convince decision makers of the need for agediverse recruitment policies, and to develop and communicate a formal policy statement agains
