The well-known former human resources executive at the German public company Volkswagen AG (VW) and the man behind the controversial 2002-2005 labor market reforms has come front stage once again. During a press conference held in Berlin on 09 May, Peter Hartz presented a new concept aimed at tackling long-term unemployment in Germany and youth unemployment across Europe.
