The European Social Partners of the steel sector, the European Metalworkers’ Federation (EMF) and the European confederation of Iron and Steel Industries (Eurofer) published, on October 2, 2008, a “joint appeal” to the political decision makers on the revision of directive 2003/87 of October 13, 2003 on the EU Emissions Trading System (EU-ETS).
