After the first inter-sectorial agreement concluded on April 25, 2006 by European social partners on the protection of workers exposed to breathable crystalline silica (see our article No.061155), the signatory parties established a follow-up system, presented as an Excel file. A software should be put online at the beginning of 2008 to replace this tools which soon appeared to be unsuitable. (Ref. 070918)
The agreement, signed in April 2006 and in effect since November of the same year, is currently being implemented in Member States.
