Planned for this year, the revision of the directive which provides for the involvement of employees in the European Company will be delayed to 2009, when the directive on the regulations creating this status will be revised. In a communication published on September 30, the Commission points to the lack of practical experience to fuel this revision even if it already mentions some difficulties in the application of the text. No revision this year… Article 15 of Directive 2001/86 supplementing the Statute for a European company with regard to the involvement of employees planned that the revision should take place in 2008.
