European Social Partners report progress on a voluntary agreement on « work-related stress»

The European Social Partners will add the finishing touch to a report tabling the first ‘"scene" in the application of their voluntary agreement on work-related stress completed in October 2005. Whilst waiting for the final balance sheet in 2009, the signatory organisations, CES, Unice and CEEP, are reporting on workplace action by the social partner nations in the application of this agreement. More than 20 months after the completion of the European Interprofessional voluntary agreement on work-related stress (voluntary because it is independent of the European Commission and has been carried through by means of the social partners’ own resources), the only available current picture of its application by the social partner nations shows very little progress:

  • In several countries, the social partners are not reporting any company action: Cyprus, Estonia, France, Greece, Hungary, Lithu
