France: new law on social dialogue to come

Adopted on November 22nd by the Council of ministers, the bill for the modernization of social dialogue creates an obligation for the government to consult social partners prior to any draft reform of the labour and employment law. The aim is to have more reforms conducted via cross-industry agreements. (Ref 061195)
