At Volkswagen, where the production of spare parts has partially resumed following the Easter weekend, management and the central works council at the German car manufacturer presented, on Wednesday 9 April, a company-wide agreement offering a catalogue of 92 health measures and behavioural rules designed to gradually resume production while protecting employees against Covid-19 infection. This catalogue of measures is geared towards Volkswagen’s German plants but is intended to serve as a basic model for all group sites throughout the world. Speaking to Planet Labor, Volkswagen production spokesman Jörn Roggenbuck covered these measures in greater detail.
