Management is especially trying to identify asymptomatic carriers. The entire testing operation must be approved by the works councils for the sites concerned. Trade unions and employees are largely in favor of this measure.

Tobias Meyer, head of the Deutsche Post/DHL Group ‘Mail and Parcels’ business announced that a Covid-19 screening operation involving more than 10,000 tests would be launched in some of the group’s 119 German sorting centers (36 for parcels and 83 for letters).
