Fed up with negotiating separate agreements for each new artificial intelligence (AI) tool, the social partners at Erwin Hymer Group (8,900 employees) have instead secured a broad, overarching pact that makes human safeguards the priority. The management of the German recreational vehicle manufacturer, which initiated the talks, had to grant substantial concessions, but the company’s roadmap for deploying AI is now firmly in place.
