The government announced, on March 7, the investment of £5 million a year in the next three years in a program to integrate women in sectors where they are under-represented. (Ref. 080225)
Created in 2006, the program, entitled Women and Work Sector Pathways Initiative already helped more than 8.000 women to find a job in areas that are mostly masculine and which lack skilled workforce, such as the building, agriculture and automotive sectors.
