Despite the government's active policy to integrate disabled people, employees with a handicap are not enough protected by law. John Robertson, labour MP, proposed a bill to keep this category of employees in work. His arguments are : guaranty human dignity and economic profitability. (Ref. 080107)
Last week, John Robertson, Labour MP Glasgow North West, presented to Parliament for the third time, a bill to improve support for disabled people in work. Even though the government announced an improvement of social benefits, “there are no measures for people who have to quit their job because of a handicap”, the MP pointed out.
