Remote work is booming in the UK. Yet, this
change in the workplace doesn’t only affect employees: it implies that managers
should think differently. Although 74% of SMEs are already operating some form
of home working, a study carried out by BT Business and published by the Centre
of Future Studies recently revealed that around half of managers in small
businesses struggle to know how remote or home workers are performing.
