A survey published on September 8, 2008 by the employers' organization CBI shows a major increase in the number of employers giving their employees the possibility to work from home: 46% instead of 14% two years ago. (Ref. 080690)
Employers feel that employees working from home do not use overloaded old transportation infrastructure, which is good for the environment. They also understand that it absolutely doesn’t prevent them from being productive.
