The last annual report of the Istat (Italian National Statistics Institute) provides an overview of economic, social and demographic change in Italy during the crisis. While, in some sectors, SMEs are hanging on and even exporting more, for the first time in over ten years, the number of new jobseekers has exceeded the number of new recruitments.
