The SLC organized the 3rd national conference of call center workers on February 18-19 in Rome. Three years after the stabilization procedures, which led to permanent contracts for nearly 25,000 precarious workers (see our dispatch No. 070889), the union gathered nearly 100 delegates from the key call centers operating in Italy to evaluate the situation and the strategy for the immediate future. During the conference, among other things, was presented the 4th report on the state of employment in the sector, with a special feature on the relocation abroad of Italian customer support activities.
