The bill, which prevents the practice of "blank resignations", was adopted on September 25, 2007. This practice consisted in having the employee sign a blank resignation letter when they were hired to enable the employer to escape the legislation on dismissals. The law is appealing to a quite modern technology to stop this practice. (Ref. 070801)
The law No. 1695 concerning the termination of the employment contract in the event of a resignation was adopted with a wide majority. This law, much awaited, aimed at putting an end to the “blank resignation” practice, very widespread among companies.
