Lithuania: social priorities of the new government

Ms. Vilija Blinkeviciute, who has for the third time been appointed to a position of Minister of Social Security and Labour, says that newly elected Lithuanian government is not planning any revolutions in social sphere, but despite that, promises citizens more money in the purse. (Ref. 06806)

Social priorities. “I want to assure everybody, that we will raise average pension up to 650 litas (188 euros) and minimal wage up to 800 litas (232 euros).
