Luxembourg: bill on reform of professional training is adopted

The Council of government of September 29th, 2006 adopted a bill reforming professional training. The text concerns initial, basic, vocational training as well as retraining. (Ref. 06967)

This plan reforms basic professional training for pupils in scholastic difficulties as well as initial professional training for youngsters and adults, in order to give them skills leading to a diploma (professional aptitude or technician). The plan introduces a bigger alternation between training in the professional field and in school.
