Luxembourg: the government is assessing the situation on the introduction of a single status for employees

The Labor and Employment Minister, François Biltgen, and the Health and Social Security Minister, Marc Di Bartolomeo, presented, on February 15, 2007, the results of the discussions conducted with social partners since April 2006, as part of the tripartite coordination committee, on the introduction of a single status for employees. In communication concerning the project on a single status aiming at eliminating the distinction between employees and workers, the two ministers reminded the single status’ main issues.
