Netherlands: amendment to the law on disability

An amendment to the new law on disability, which came into force on January 1st, 2006, was adopted on September 28th in the Parliament. Starting January 1st 2006, people who are 100% disabled will be entitled to 75 % of their last wage instead of 70 %. (Ref. 06965)

An amendment to new law on disability (Werk in Inkomen naar Arbeidsvermogen, WIA), which came into force on January 1st, 2006, has just been adopted by the Parliament.
