United States/machinists union tries to unionize Boeing South Carolina. The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has approved a request by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) for 178 technicians at the Boeing assembly facility to be able to vote on affiliation with the IAM.
