Andrzej Duda, the president of Poland, signed an amendment introducing remote work into the country’s labour code on 30 January 2023. The amendment was adopted on 13 January 2023 by the Sejm, the lower house of the Polish parliament, and is part of a bill on various adjustments to labour legislation. An amendment recently adopted by the Polish parliament provides a definition for remote work and sets out procedures for how such arrangements should be implemented at companies.
